Iron Will- Movie Review
Inspired by true events, Iron Will directed by Charles Haid is the story of a young man who sets out on a dangerous cross-country sled race hoping to win the $10,000 prize and save his family's farm from financial ruin. He and his dogs endure all sorts of trouble, including harassment from a fellow racer who doesn't like the competition. But as he and his dogs work their way along the route, they begin to inspire a nation to believe in his cause. And he helps a cynical and shallow newspaper man start to see Will and his dogs as more than just an inspiring news story, but as a cause that deserves genuine support and not just lip service. Iron Will was first released in 1994.
